Orange Grove Center |
|
| Orange Grove is a private, non-profit organization serving adults and children with developmental disabilities. Orange Grove was established in 1953 by families of children with intellectual disabilities in Hamilton County, Tennessee, who desperately needed educational services.
The Recycling Center is now considered a regional Materials Recovery Facility, accepting recyclables from local municipalities' curbside programs, area drop off centers, businesses and schools throughout the tri-state area. The Recycling Center sorts, separates, bales and sells to regional recycling end markets over 2 million pounds of product each month thereby diverting this material from local landfills. This also includes the Secure Document Destruction Department that started October 1, 2009. This department does secure document shredding for several large companies including the IRS buildings in Chattanooga and Nashville. Orange Grove is AAA Certified location. A National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) member. Also, a Secured Document Alliance (SDA)member. |
